Responsibilities: 

• Develop structural models and / or floor plans and details on Revit in collaboration with Structural Engineers. 

• Carry out inter-discipline coordination items utilizing models and/or drawings. 

• Coordinate with Structural Engineers throughout all phases of project development. 

• Develop and maintain automated Schedules / spreadsheets as required. 

• Develop organized and detailed construction documents. 

• Analyze sketches, notes, and other data and determine best approach to complete drawing. 

• Ability to manipulate features in Autodesk Revit Structures such as family creation and clash detection, considered a plus 

• Knowledge of other BIM tools like Tekla, Bentley Rebar Detailing is an advantage 

• Knowledge of 3D Reinforcement modeling a plus 

• Deliver high quality drawings within timescales and budget. 

• Produce drawings in accordance with Drawing Management Standards (DMS) and relevant specifications and codes of practice 

• Coordination with engineers and other CAD technicians in producing drawings 

• Ensure technical competencies are kept up to date 

Mandatory Requirements: 

• Diploma in Civil Engineering with a certificate course or Experience in Revit & AutoCAD. 

• Sufficient and relevant experience in drafting and 3D Modelling on Revit of bridges and other highway structures. 

• Experience in computer software such as MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Outlook. 

• Good written and verbal English language communication skills 

• Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients. 

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. 

• Ability to independently produce engineering drawings to a high standard. 

• Ability to produce appropriate calculations, when necessary, in producing working drawings. 

Desirable Requirements: 

• Knowledge of Microstation 

• Knowledge of RC detailing software such as CADS-RC or SuperCAD 

• Experience of working on drafting and detailing to UK and/or US standards.
