POSITION - PLANNING ENGINEER 

JOB LOCATION - QATAR 

SALARY - 8,000/- QR 

Job Summary: 

Responsible for coordinating between the Project Managers and the Projects Manager. He should be able to provide status updates of all projects to the Projects Manager when needed. He is also responsible for company planning, monitoring and evaluating the work done and submitted by Project Managers. 

Main Responsibilities: 

•Technical: 
•Following up on all Project Managers. 
•Collecting reports from all Project Managers and reporting to the Projects Manager. 
•Monitoring, with the help of the Project Manager, all phases of the project until issuing the completion certificate to ensure that all projects are running smoothly and according to the agreed time plan. 
•Coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of company's’ outcome based service delivery planning cycle, including the oversight of the strategic and operational plans. 
•Facilitating discussion of goals and measures. 
•Implementing systems and processes to collect and analyze data, trends and other related information that impacts the organization 
•Collecting, analyzing and reporting the progress and outcomes achieved for funders, clients, board and other organizations. 
•Identifying potential planning or evaluation projects to company that require dedicated or specific attention. 
•Coordinating the monitoring and evaluation of all projects. 
•Participating as a member of the management team in the strategic planning and goal setting process for the organization. 
•Managing different types of risks associated with each project. 
•Supporting the proposal developing phase when needed. 
•Reviewing and sharing the status reports, work plans, change requests …etc. 
•Checking for accuracy and completeness of own and others’ work with minimum supervision. 

Requirements/Skills: 

•A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 
•Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience. 
•PMP certified. 
•Ability to analyze immediate and long term impacts of environmental trends, opportunities, and develop options to address a 
wide range of potential directions. 
•Experience with strategic and operational planning processes. 
•Excellent written skills with the ability to prepare complex evaluation and funder reports. 
•Excellent networking skills, with experience working to develop and implement Salam Enterprise’s partnerships and 
collaborations. 
•Knowledge of MS Project and similar Software used in the planning function is highly encouraged. 
•Good problem solving skills. 
•Good leadership skills. 
•Technical background. 
•Very good computer skills. 
•Excellent communication and planning skills.
