We are having Job opening for Quantity Surveyor (Engineer-Manager level), Saudi Arabia location. Our client is leading Indian MNC in construction of the different projects domestic and international.
Interviews will be in 3rd week of January at Hyderabad/Chennai/Mumbai. If you are having at least 1 year experience in gulf for residential or commercial projects for Quantity Surveying activities. And experience from contracting company then apply to this job.
Experience - 5-16 Years
Looking for a person who is having experience related to projects like Residential / Commercial
- Should be from Contracting Construction Company (must)
- B.E. Civil
1. Managing costs on a wide variety of new building projects and structures, such as residential developments, sports stadiums, roads and bridges, schools, hospitals, offices and factories;
2. Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
3. Assisting in establishing a client"s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
4. Performing risk and value management and cost control;
5. Advising on procurement strategy;
6. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities;
7. Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks;
8. Preparing and analysing costings for tenders;
9. Allocating work to subcontractors;
10. Providing advice on contractual claims;
11. Analysing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports;
12. Valuing completed work and arranging payments;
13. Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use;
14. Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations. Areas requiring more specialised knowledge include:
15. Offering advice on property taxation;
16. Providing post-occupancy advice, facilities management services and life cycle costing advice;
17. Assisting clients in locating and accessing additional and alternative sources of funds;
18. Enabling clients to initiate construction projects;
19. Advising on the maintenance costs of specific buildings.
